DO NOT LOOK/READ IF YOU HAVE NOT BEATEN MASS EFFECT 2!!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

---------------------------
Okay first off, Mass Effect 2 is awesome. Go buy it. Go Play it. NOW.

And with that out of the way....

Annihilation is imminent. We galactic meatbags are seriously f*cked. (this is one of the few times you'll see me remotely type these kind of words...that shows you how scared I am)

I mean, holy sh*t....look at that armada! I nearly cried when I saw this scene in game. I felt like everything I did was pointless. After what one Reaper did to half the fleet in the first game, now to have to face thousands of them?

Be afraid. Be, VERY afraid....

.....

....

....I'm gonna go hide now...

....for all the good it will do...

-----------------

EDIT 1/3/11: Hot damn look at all these faves and comments! Thanks guys, you're all awesome! Can't wait for Mass Effect 3 :D

Yeah I fainted once I saw that scene too. ^^;

But as the old saying goes, "It's always darkest before the dawn." Because you highly underestimate the prowess of Commander Shepard. Hell in the Mass Effect 2 I played I apparently have entire Rachni species that considers me a friend. :D

INNER SHEPARD: I beat Saren, my crew destroyed Sovereign, my Ex survived the Collectors, and my romantic interest messed up their base. I have the strongest ship in the galaxy. Krogan know my name in both fear and respect, I blew up Geth like pop rocks and had their hive mind join my crew. I punched a giant mech in the FACE. The Reapers may be ancient, but their not immortal, and nowhere NEAR a god. I will break every single one of them. And do you know why? Because my crew is the best, my ship is the best, my allies are the best, and I'M, the best, and not just of humanity, Council, or No-Council, but of the frickin' Milky Way ITSELF!! HOORAH!!! :iconherotimeplz:

does anyone else suspect what I do? That the Reapers are repeating this cycle over and over in order to immortalize the best species? If that's the case, isn't their goal...almost...noble? They use the very essence of a species to create a reaper in that species image, thus ensuring it remains for all time.

And if that's the case, do you think that maybe one of the possible endings for ME3 is that the Shepard's mind is transferred to one and Shepard thus becomes an immortal reaper?

sorry, just felt like sharing that theory with someone. XD

Well then why dident Sovreign just tell that to Shepard when he asked why they do what they do? Sovereign didnet give any answer besides being the Reapers intergalactic trolls.

Sovereigns response was that even if he told, Shepard wouldn't understand, basing the fact that it requires the deaths of millions to do such a thing, and Shepard isn't one to say, 'oh, okay that sounds reasonable, go ahead.'

This theory also gains some credence when you consider the newest ME3 news. Cerberus and Illusive Man are working with the Reapers now. Illusive Man's goal is human dominance in the galaxy and he's stated he'll go to any lengths to insure it. What better way then have a human Reaper to lord over all the galaxy? Of course, he's fooling himself with this line of thinking, because when the Reapers are done there won't be anything to rule over.

I have all my crew alive and as far as i can tell, every possible ally in not only normal Campaign, but in DLC as well! Im pretty much total Paragon with a slight dip into renegade when i absolutly need it.

Now all that being said, When finishing ME2 and seein the hundreds upon hundreds, if not thousands of reapers lighting up, my first thought was, "Were all totally *^%$ed!" However me and a couple friends have been debating outcomes on how the reapers get beatin. I personally think the more allies you have, the more time it buys you to find a way to beat them, which is possibly done through hacking the Reapers and pretty much hitting the off switch! I think the Geth are going to be insturmental in ME3.

Also i am focusing my attention to what the Keepers role in ME3 will be!

Thats actually an intresting theory, Does anyone remember the Overlord DLC for ME 2? The "Human Computer" that could control geth...maybe they learn how to hack the reapers?

I don't have that DLC yet but I do have the LOTSB DLC and it's awesome. It would be cool if you can get a Yahg on your team. Hell, you wouldn't need a second party member to come with you.

From what ive been able to dig up, the things so far that have a major impact on ME 3 Story is: Did you Save the Rachni Queen?, the LOTSB DLC(finishing it), The upgrades to the normandy, Wrex and the krogan, your relationship(of course lol), and surviving crew members, and saving or destroying the Collector base! Theres also a part I believe helps you and thats the mission on the Krogan homeworld, where the salarian scientist possibly discovered a cure to the genophage!

Yeah, I did pretty much all of that, including rewriting the heretic Geth, thus, increasing the power of the Geth. Also, loyalty missions are important too. Like, when you go to Tali's trial(She's my romance) and I managed to prove her innocent using the Paragon(I'm mostly Paragon with a little Renegade mixed in there somewhere) option and I think that the Quarians might help you during the final battle, maybe even join forces with the Geth. If that might happen, here's my theory: The Quarians and being attacked by a single Reaper and when all hope for the Quarians seems lost, all of the Geth(my guess at their average numbers, somewhere around 3 million) come out of nowhere and destroy the Reaper, thus, proving to the Quarians that the Geth have changed and they join forces. Also, during Garrus' loyalty mission, if you spare Sidonis, why do I get the feeling that, when a enemy is about to kill Garrus, a sniper shot comes out of nowhere and kills the enemy and when Garrus looks where the shot came from, Sidonis comes out of hiding and says "I told you that I'd make it up to you in some way." That would be pretty cool. I also wonder if there will be new aliens and what new characters you can recruit and I wonder if Kasumi(Stolen Memories DLC) and Zaeed(Don't remember what DLC) will come into ME3. I also wonder if Bioware will finally frickin show what Tali looks like under her mask, it's killing me. She's like the Master Chief of Mass Effect, only except Tali is a female.

LOLZ i kept Ashley for my romance through both games, im still stuck in thinkin i get her back in ME3! Im sure the Keepers are going to be involved in some way. If you went and viewed the videos at the LOTSB, during the 3rd set of videos(every 3 visits) You see Keeper 20 walking away from a dead krogan corpse...idk dude, but whatever ME3 is gonna be like, im pretty sure its going to be All Out War! hahaha In ME 1 and 2, i was Paragon as much as possible so...i think i got everybody set! As for Kasumi and Zaeed, i believe its just having the extra manpower/firepower. Im sure BIOWARE is going to find someway to incorperate them

Yeah, Tali is my favorite female character in both Mass Effect games and she's always my romance option in Mass Effect 2. She is just so funny. She's like the cute nerdy girl who has a crush on the jock(AKA, Shepard) and I thought it was funny when Liara tells you(if you romanced Tali in ME2) that she's always liked Shepard and Shepard was like "Why didn't you tell me this?" I think that Tali is the canon romance option for a male Shepard in ME2 while Garrus is the canon romance option for a female Shepard. Also, how awesome would it be if you could actually pilot the Normandy SR2? I don't know about you but that would be frickin awesome. Flying it in space and shooting at the Reapers. And yeah, if Bioware doesn't add Kasumi and Zaeed in ME3(I think they will but you never know), you can bet that someone will figure out how to mod them in, like adding characters you don't recruit yet earlier into the game, like, taking Tali and Legion(One of my favorite characters, the others being Tali, Garrus, Grunt, and, of course, WREX!! He's awesome)to recruit Garrus or Mordin. Also, if you keep Wrex alive in the first game(who wouldn't want to keep him alive?), do you think that Bioware will have him come back as a crew member again, maybe even with a fricking Krogan army(He is a battle master after all)? I hope so. And it would be cool if you can send in drawings to Bioware as ideas for new aliens.

Razakel: Why, so you can send in pictures of me?

No Razakel, you wouldn't really have any use. Your entire species to be exact. Your kind are pretty much Varren with the regeneration power of Krogan, the adapting ability of Vorcha, and you yourself are smarter than any Salarian, as are the rest of the Bone-Hound species. Also, you can't hold guns. The only use that you'd be is if Bioware lets you use war beasts.

Razakel: So?

Whatever, BigThrawn, this is Razakel, one of my ocs. He's a creature I made up called Bone-Hounds and he is very annoying most of the time. He's also a joker so any jokes or insults he makes, just ignore them, he doesn't really mean it unless he says he does. Here's some pictures of him [link] [link]
[link] Say hello Razakel.

Razakel: Hi there, my full name is Razakel Knochen-Hund Die Verbotene Schwarzwald Mitternacht Steigan, but you can just call me Razakel. Not Razzie, not Raz, Razakel. In case you're wondering what most of my name means, here's a translation; Knochen-Hund means "Bone-Hound", it's my official last name, the name of my species, and the last name of a Legendary Bone-Hound, Akakios Knochen-Hund. Die Verbotene Schwarzwald means "The Forbidden Black Forest", it's where I was born. And Mitternacht Steigan means "Midnight Rise", that's the name of my planet. If you'd like to know more about my species, just let me know and I'll be more than happy to share our history with you.

Cerberus News Network:
Deep space observatorys in the theta eta cluster has reported spotting a large number of brime shrimp like ships moving towards the galaxy from deep space. On the Citadel, the Turian representive was qouted to say "its obviously a weak attempt by the rogue human group Cerberus to make Commander Shepards wild claims about a super intelligent race of machines seem more ligitimate. The council will need more proof then the ramblings of Shepard and doctored reports and images."

When reminded that the observatories are in fact ran by Turians, the councilmen declined any further comment.

My fear has come full circle just about now. So at this point I have to say, after killing Sovereign(Narana, as Legion calls it) killing the collectors, and saving the galaxy twice, the sight of the reapers is less surprising, and more frustrating.

"Sigh..." :picks up rifle and walks forward to the FINAL, final battle, aka Mass Effect 3:

If this it, then bring it on; fucking tired of waiting anyways.

Those abominations don't stand a chance.

The whole end of the game is my favorite part. Punching out the Reaper fetus, the mad dash to Normandy, telling TIM to go f*ck himself (if you played Paragon like I did), and then watching the Reaper's decide that nap time is over: Freaking epic man. I'm pumped for 3.

When I saw this scene in game, my first initial reaction was... like many... to cry and say:"We are so screwed."
then I got to thinking. With the right connections, Shepard can have alot more help than many people think. With the Rachni still alive in my game, they can be a great factor... then, I reprogrammed the Geth to be like Legion. I saved the Krogan, and I even saved the damned useless council in the first game. With the Quarian fleet involved as well, you do stand a good chance to bring alot to the table in ME3.... just expect a WHOLE LOT of death and destruction when the fecal matter hits the rotating ocilator.
Either way, its gonna be frelling badass.
Oh....and I got the No One Left Behind achievement.... so I still have my entire team!
